What do you do if one of your friends is pregnant and her family may not be with her? As a friend you and your other girlfriends can throw your pregnant girl friend a baby shower. Having a baby shower is a way to let your friend know that you care for her. You can come with a guest list of all her friends, family and colleagues. Guests who attend a baby shower are expected to bring along baby shower gifts. These gifts should help the soon-to-be mom get ready for her baby’s arrival.
If you are hosting the shower or are a guest at a baby shower, it is a good gesture to bring along baby shower gifts. The most common baby shower gifts are baby clothes. If some of your guests have never been to a baby shower, tell them that practical baby gifts like diapers, changing mats and baby wipes are the best. You can also get baby bottles, a sterilizer and some bibs. Another practical shower gift is mittens and socks.
