wading boots

When fly fishing in shallow waters, one must have a pair of sturdy wading boots. Durability is not the only factor to consider. The boots must have good traction to minimize slipping.

They must also provide good ankle support. Most streams and rivers have uneven bottom, and a good ankle support can prevent injuries that come with falls or slipping such as ankle sprains.
